Ramblings of an insomniac

Insomnia breeds anxiety
Anxiety breeds insomnia
Ahh the vicious cycle.
So while everyone else in the house (and probably all of Issaquah) is sound asleep, I have turned to my blog for distraction. I have already checked my e-mail, edited mistakes in my previous post (Thanks to an e-mail from the Bill Brown punctuation patrol) worked on script re-writes and class proposals, and eaten a ridiculous amount of Huckleberry Popcorn from the Bite of Seattle.

I must do something to keep me from drinking a bottle of Sangiovese and browsing WebMD for some disease, syndrome or infection I might have. I don't have any symptoms of anything yet but I'm sure I could come up with early warning signs of some rare disorder. Insomnia and excessive hunger must be a symptom of something, right?

I could watch TV but after months, I am still not sure which of Mark's four remote controls will allow me to watch television. I guess I could play Guitar Hero or teach myself how to play Dance Dance Revolution. Aww who am I kidding. I'm far to lazy for that.

Well I've pretty much run out of things to write. I guess there is nothing left to do but relax in the comfy new Queen size bed and obsess about nothing and everything.
I really have nothing to obsess about, but I won't let that stop me.
Life is good.
I guess it makes me nervous.

Back from Hiatus

I have returned from my blogging hiatus.
I guess I had some people worried. All is well. I don't have a lot of time to write at the moment. I assure you, my concerned readers... I will be back to mocking the French and ranting about Mayor Nickels in no time!

This is a picture of me in Hollywood with my new love. His name is Beard Papa, and he makes the most amazing baked goods.

Mark has a thing for the Little Mermaid, I can certainly have feelings for Beard Papa. He might be a little short for me but he doesn't have a fish tail and he makes me fresh cream puffs.

Top that, Ariel!
