Steely McBeam

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a new mascot. More than one person has said that he sounds like something I would have made up. Alas, I cannot take credit for my new favorite mascot (did I have an old one?) Steely McBeam rolled off the assembly line and into the hearts of Pennsylvanians and football fans everywhere. Steely McBeam or as I like to call him The lovechild of Rosie the Riveter and Steely Dan has replaced the less catchy "Stevie Steeler"

Saddened by the news, Stevie Wonder and Stevie Nicks were not available for comment.
